| If you are looking
for a place with incredible beaches, outrageous food, and a paradise
like atmosphere, then the Island of St. Barthelemy is for you. |
| St. Barthelemy
is located in the French West Indies and you will have to take
a small commuter plane from St. Maarten to get there. It's only about
15 minutes give or take a bit. You may also take a boat but it is
quite longer. If you do elect to take the commuter plane, be aware,
leave plenty of time when departing St. Barth's to go back to the
St. Maarten airport. Plenty of time! We found out the hard
way. We missed our connection flight to NY, and our Luggage was
delayed in St. Barth's for around seven hours. Needless
to say, what should have been a five-hour trip turned into twelve.
So leave plenty of time, you may make it back to St. Maarten, but
your luggage may not! |

Well, getting
back to St. Barthelemy, if you don't mind the traveling, you will
have a fabulous time. I cannot even begin to tell you about
the enormous selection of top quality restaurants
there are to choose from on this island. Each one unique
in it's own way. There are beachfront restaurants such as Boubou's
right on the beach. Or you may eat at the incredible highly
classed Carl Gustaf Restaurant with its breath taking
views. All the restaurants have fabulous food.

| The Beaches of St. Barthelemy are in my opinion, ranked with
the best in the world. Spectacular turquoise
water, cliff side views, outrageous snorkeling, scuba diving,
kayaking, jet skiing, boating and everything you can possibly imagine.
Beautiful white sand beaches and what really makes St. Barth's
is, the fact that mountain cliff sides surround it. This is

| Touring around
St. Barth's is best in my opinion done by scooter transportation.
It will only take about 45 minutes to tour the whole island, but you
will want to stop off at the many fabulous shops in town. Most
shops feature world quality designer clothing accessories and
just about anything your heart desires. |
| Some of the
best resorts and hotels in the world are awaiting you at St.
Barth's. One of which is the Glorious Hotel GUANAHANI. The
GUANAHANI hotel is simply spectacular. Surrounded by tropical
gardens, each cottage is configured in the Creole style and decorated
with rare woods, pastel shades and lovely cotton fabrics, which create
a colonial atmosphere. Each cottage has its own unique charm
and comfort, with a large terrace, a private tropical garden and view
of the fabulous Refreshing Sea. With the beach on one side, and the
lagoon on the other, you will want to stay forever. |

Hotel you will also have your taste of two incredible restaurants.
There is the Indigo Restaurant overlooking the beach and the
swimming-pool, with a tasty tropical breakfast buffet comprising
of a wide choice of fresh fruits, jams and "Viennoiseries". Lunchtime
exotic salads and drinks, as well as grilled lobsters will have your
taste buds satisfied and your demeanor charmed. |
| After an
incredible day you will top it off with dinner at the Bartolomeo
Restaurant, a classy atmosphere with a wide variety of mediterranean
flavours and great vintages. Try the Soft "Fondant",
it truly is a chocolate lovers dream. |
| The GUANAHANI also has tennis courts, an impressive
gym, a beach side boutique and CLARINS Beauty Boutique,
where men-women can experience unique massages, manicures, facials
